The 20th European Economics Workshop took place on May 16th – 17th at the Department of Economics of the Universiy of Verona. The event, jointly organized by CRIEP and the Department of Economics of the University of Verona, brought together Italian and international researchers in the field of Health Economics.
During the two days, several parallel sessions took place in the Department concerning microeconomics models applied to health economics, with a strong emphasis on applications of industrial organization, contract theory, insurance economics, and public economics. In particular, on Friday 17th, Professor Luigi Siciliani (University of York) gave the keynote lecture of the workshop, titled “Bridging the gap between theory, evidence and policy in health economics”.
