The Interuniversity Research Center on Public Economics (CRIEP) is participating in the 3rd Public Debt Management Conference, taking place on October 3-4 in Washington D.C., USA. The conference, titled “Risks and Challenges for Public Debt Management: Inflation, Markets and Climate,” is organized by the Public Debt Management Network (PDM Network), a joint initiative of the OECD, the Italian Treasury Department, and the World Bank.
The event aims to facilitate dialogue and knowledge sharing among policymakers, academics, and professionals, promoting collaboration and best practices in public debt management. Key topics will include the development and dissemination of effective policies related to public debt management.
During the conference, Valentina Catapano, a Research Fellow at CRIEP, will present a working paper titled “Secondary Market Liquidity: The Role of Repo Market Specialness.” This paper is a collaborative effort with Luciano Greco, Director of CRIEP, and Filippo Mormando, also a Research Fellow at CRIEP.
